Joye A. Lee

Joye A. Lee (nee Berlin), age 91, a resident of Tabor Hills Independent Living in Naperville, IL, formerly of Lombard, IL, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Thrive of Fox Valley in Aurora, IL. She was born in Forest Park, IL on June 24, 1934.
Joye is survived by her loving daughters, Julie (Arthur) Kleinrath, Rev. Wendy (Richard) Popp and Amy (John) Winchell; her cherished grandchildren, Dana and Renata Winchell; her in-laws, Thurman (Pat) Lee, Thelma Warner and Andrew Lee; as well as many nieces, nephews, and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Howard F. Lee, whom she married May 26, 1956 and who passed away on September 2, 2021, her parents, Paul and Betty (nee Berschmidt) Berlin, her dear sister, Carol (the late Heinz) Piehl, and her parent-in-laws, William and Reitha Lee.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 3S460 Curtis Avenue, Warrenville. A celebration of Joye's life will follow at 10:30 AM in the church with her daughter, Rev. Wendy Popp and Rev. Justin Baxter officiating.
A luncheon reception will follow the service at the church.
