Lillie Juanita Ballard, 89, of Loudon, went home to be with The Lord on July 18th, 2025. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and nurse.
Juanita was preceded in death by husband, Ed Ballard; mother, Lula Watkins; father, John Wesley; and siblings, Spencer Watkins and Betty Watkins.
She is survived by her daughter, Edwina Tinnel; granddaughter, Shelecia (Jason) Brewer; great-grandsons, Noah and Cooper Brewer; and several nieces and nephews.
Juanita was a graduate of The University of Tennessee, class of 1957, and she went on to work as an RN at Loudon Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Loudon Women's Club and Valley View Freewill Baptist Church. Juanita enjoyed reading, fishing, metal detecting, and gardening.
Services will be held at McGill Click Funerals and Cremations on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025. The visitation will be from 5PM to 7PM with a service following at 7PM, officiated by Daniel Fortman. On Thursday, July 24th, 2025, we will leave McGill Click at 9:30 AM and process to Loudon Memorial Gardens for a 10AM committal, officiated by Blake Stephens.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Tina, Rebecah, Heather, and Angie at River Grove.
