Funeral services for Judith "Judy" (Jordan) Boaz Anderson, age 85 of New Harmony, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2025, at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale with Bishop Jacob Wamboldt officiating. A private interment will follow at Lindale City Cemetery. Judith passed peacefully from this earth and into the arms of Jesus on August 12th, 2025, surrounded by family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her deep faith, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family. Born on March 31, 1940, to Frank and Launa Sitton Jordan, Judith grew up in Lindale, Texas, where she graduated from Lindale High School. She later earned her associate degree from Tyler Junior College. Judith lived a life rooted in kindness, devotion, and strength. She was a proud and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, remaining dedicated to her faith even as her health declined. Judith was preceded in death by her first husband, Darrell Boaz; her second husband, Jack Anderson; her beloved son, Ronnie Darrell Boaz; her parents, Frank and Launa Jordan; and siblings Claude Jordan, Wanda Wright, Royce Jordan, F.W. Jordan, and Ann Mallory. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kathy Adams and husband Dan of New Harmony; her grandchildren, Justin Adams, Jarrad Adams and wife Cash, Randa Boaz, Joshua Boaz and wife Taylor; 13 great-grandchildren; Jacob, Carson, Macie, Madison, Jade , Miley, Brody, Marleigh, Kelsey, Lincoln, Remy, Bellani, and Swayze and two great-great-grandchildren; Katelynn and Eden. She is also survived by her brother, Ronald Jordan, and his wife, Anne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Judith was the heart of her family-the matriarch-always ready with a listening ear, thoughtful advice, and unconditional love for everyone she met. Judith had a passion for family, faith, and a good Hallmark movie-her television was tuned in year-round. Her quiet strength, warm presence, and deep compassion made her a blessing to all who knew her. In her final days, Judith was lovingly cared for by Hospice of East Texas, whose gentle support provided comfort and dignity. Her great-granddaughter, Macie Adams, was by her side throughout her final journey, offering endless love, patience, and care that deeply touched the entire family. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Hospice of East Texas, in honor of the compassionate care Judith received.
