Judith A. Nussbaum

Judith A. Nussbaum, 77, of New Franklin, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on September 21, 1948, in Akron, Ohio to the late Emmett F. Reese and Hazel I. (Mobley) Reese. Judy grew up near Hudson, Ohio and graduated from Hudson High School, where she enjoyed her time playing saxophone in the marching band.
On April 27, 1968, Judy married the love of her life, Norman L. Nussbaum. Together they shared 57 wonderful years filled with laughter, love, and countless memories. Judy spent much of her early professional life as a dedicated data entry operator at Morse Controls and Mid-Continent Telephone Company, both in Hudson, Ohio. Later in life, she discovered her artistic side through watercolor painting, a pursuit that brought her joy and fulfillment.
Tenderhearted and compassionate, Judy had a special affection for animals. She and Norman opened their home to many strays and abandoned pets over the years, offering each one love and care. Judy and Norman shared simple pleasures-beach trips, peaceful walks in the park, scenic countryside drives, and quiet moments together in nature.
Judy's strong faith in God sustained her through life's challenges, especially during her third and final fight with cancer.
A graveside service and burial were held at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
