Judith Riley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home on Nov. 26, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Riley, age 87, who peacefully passed away on November 18, 2025. Judith was born on June 11, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Milton and Violet Hein, who preceded her. She is now reunited with them, along with the loved ones who passed before her, including her brothers James and Robert.
Judith was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother, cherished by her family. She is survived by her children Maureen (Jim), Barbara, Brian, Steven, and Deborah (Ronald), as well as her beloved grandchildren and great- grandchildren, all of whom will continue to carry forward her legacy.
After graduating from Phillips High School in Phillips, WI, Judith went to study at Saint Joseph's School of Nursing in Marshfield, WI, graduating in 1959 and receiving her bachelors. Judith dedicated her life to the caring profession as a Registered Nurse, providing comfort and healing to countless patients throughout her career. After 43 years with Saint Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, IL, she retired in 2013. Her compassion towards others was a hallmark of her life, and she touched the lives of many with her beautiful spirit and unwavering dedication.
In her off time, Judith spent hours crafting. Whether it was knitting, embroidery, or cross- stitch, it was bound to be something gorgeous.
Judith will be forever remembered for her kind heart, her deep love for her family, and her commitment to nursing. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, care and thoughtfulness that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
In the words of Judith herself, "Bye for now."
A celebration of Judith's life will be announced at a later date. A private burial will be held for close family at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.
"Honor her for all that her hands have done and let her works bring her praise at the city gate." (Proverbs 31:31)
