Mrs. Judy Abner, 69, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born in Madison County, Kentucky on September 29, 1954, the daughter of the late Howard & Bessie Yarber Farthing. Judy was a graduate of Madison Central High School and enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include: her children, Casey Clinton (Deongelo), and Rodney Abner; grandchildren, Marissa Swallow, Jai Allen, and Keith Abner; her siblings, Darlene Farthing, Vickie Harney (Sam), Randy Farthing, Ricky Farthing (Krysta), Danny Farthing (Wanda), Ronnie Farthing (Jennifer), and Greg Farthing (Karen); as well as a host of other extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Abner; one grandchild, Nicholis Abner; and four brothers, Carlos, Billy Wayne, Gary & Howard Farthing.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, KY, with Bro. George Renner officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Friday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Howard Farthing, Troy Farthing, Jai Allen, Austin Risk, Blake Farthing & Steve Sowers.
Honorary Pallbearer will be her son, Rodney Abner.
