died peacefully at Chesaning Comfort Care on March 7, 2024, at the age of 82.
Judy was born on February 3, 1942, in Shepard, Michigan. The daughter of Willis Simcox and Queenie Birch. Judy achieved her nursing degree after graduating high school, and worked as a registered nurse at Schnepps Nursing Home in St. Louis, Michigan for many years. On December 18, 1965, she married her husband, Conrad Rattay. They spent 58 years together. Judy was known for being very quiet, but could be headstrong at times. She enjoyed her calmly life, tending to her houseplants, and flower garden.
Judy is survived by her husband, Conrad Rattay; children, David (Cynthia) Rattay, Mary Rattay (Jeremy Ventrone); 3 grand children, Madelyn Rattay, Joe Rattay, and Alex Ventrone; sisters, Colleen (Larry) Herbert, and Sherry Simcox. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Yvonne (Skip) Hosang.
Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held at this time.
