Julia G. Ambrosino formerly of Norwood, sadly passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 in Wilmington, DE. She was 100 years old.
Judy was born on December 11, 1924 in Norwood. She was the daughter of the late John and Julia (DiGiacomo) Chiarolanza.
After graduating from Glen-Nor High School, she worked at Graduate Hospital and in the offices of W.T. Grant and Town Talk. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed vacations at the Jersey shore, spending time with her family and a daily Manhattan.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Joseph (Darlene) Ambrosino, John Ambrosino, Cindy (Gary) Rosser and Tina (Oda) Campbell; eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Gabriel Ambrosino, her three brothers and four sisters.
The family would like to thank the caregivers from Mandi's Starlite Services for their loving and compassionate care over the last few months, especially Mandi, Dianne and Angela, as well as the staff at Shipley Living.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 AM in St. Gabriel Church, Mohawk Ave., Norwood, where a funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Ss Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
Memorial contributions, can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
