Julia Murphy (nee Boor)

Julia (Judy) was born and raised in Trenton New Jersey on October 6, 1932.

She was a parishioner at St. John's Slovak Luther Church in Trenton, a member of the United Luther Society (GBU) and Bordentown Elks #2085 Auxiliary. She retired from the State of NJ Dept. of Labor and Industry.

She moved to Bordentown to be near her daughter where she resided for many years.

She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, mom-mom, aunt and friend.

Judy was predeased by her parents Katherine nee Sadlon and Martin Boor, Sr. and her former husband James A. Murphy.

Also predeased by her three brothers, two sisters, her in laws and their spouses. Martin Jr. and Dorothy L. Boor; Anne nee Boor and Charles Murr; Helen "Betty" nee Boor and John "Jay" Joseph; John and Theresa "Tess" Boor and Steven Boor, Sr. Her sisters in laws and brothers in laws, Marie nee Murphy and Anthony Bilotta; Brendan J. Jr. and Kathleen Murphy.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy A. Debnarik and her husband Nick Jr. and her son Brian Murphy. Her grandson's Nicholas III and Michael Debnarik.

She is also survived by her sister-in-law Vilma Boor, several nieces and nephews and friends.

Bordentown Elks #2085 Auxiliary will hold services Saturday morning.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:00am. Calling hours are from 9:30am to 11:00am at Knott Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.

Interment will follow at Saint John's Slovak Lutheran Cemetery.
