Julie A. Finks, age 55, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Julie was born in Joliet, IL, on March 28, 1969. She was adopted by her loving parents, Robert and Mary Sennott. Julie was married to Brian Finks on June 20, 1997; he survives.
Julie grew up in Illinois and was a 1987 graduate of Morris Community High School. After high school, she worked as an operator at Sponge Cushion for some time. Julie and Brian followed their dream of moving to the Northwoods of Wisconsin ten years ago. She was a busy homemaker with a love for animals, both wild and domestic, owning numerous cats and dogs. Julie loved the outdoors watching deer and other animals and enjoyed camping. One of her favorite past times was taking Harley rides, especially the Fall Ride and Sturgis trips, and made amazing memories attending concerts with friends. Julie was a fierce warrior who will be missed deeply by her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Brian Finks; her son, Ayden Finks; her daughter, Alexis Finks (Bruce Knight); her parents, Robert and Mary Sennott; her brothers, Tim Sennott, Chad Collefello, and Donny Dublin; and her mother-in-law, Julie Keenan. She is further survived by her grandchild, Genevieve. Julie was preceded in death by her in-laws, Alfred and Betty Finks and Junior Sherrell.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Generations Funeral Home, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in the spring. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
