She was preceded in death by her father Archie Hawkins.
Julie touched so many people and never met a stranger. She was one of the brightest stars in the sky and loved unconditionally. She will be great-fully missed by so many. She is an inspiration and great example of how to always see the good in people and never pass judgement.
Julie is survived by her Fiancé Thomas Smithem; mother Cassie Hawkins; father Tommy Bailey; sisters, Tracy (Dan) Mines, Pepper (Jamey) Jones, Lisa Shepherd Bailey, Christine Bailey, Ashley Bailey; brother Mose Bailey; nephews, Dylan (Brooke) Jones, Derek (Angie) Lowe, Ethan Lowe, Hunter Jones and Kane Bailey; nieces, Reegee (Tim) Bailey, Sabrina Lowe, Alyssa Jones and Alexandria Bailey; great nieces and nephews, Scarlett, Peyton, Lorelie, Knoxx, Tootie, Archie Bee, Charlie and Saylor. A special thanks to several high school friends that help her along the way.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday June, 10, 2023 in the Chapel of Dalton First Baptist Church with Rev. Mitch Huskison officiating.
