June E. Stephens, age 83, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved being a mother to her two sons, as well as a mamaw of three. She was adored by her husband's extended family and her nieces and nephews. In her mid-years she attended Valley View Baptist Church in Knoxville. June was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Zoralee Knight, and her beloved husband, Billy Joe Stephens. She is survived by her sons, Mark (Carrie) Stephens and Michael (Chris) Stephens; grandchildren, Allysa Rhea, Zarian Stephens, and Sam Stephens. The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff of Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, all of the Stephens family, her nieces and nephews, and her home assistant, Eve. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Rose Funeral & Cremation Broadway. Family and friends will meet at 8:15 AM on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery-John Sevier Highway for an 8:30 AM graveside service officiated by Rev. Justin Pratt.
