Justin Parnell Hayward was born July 15, 1972, and passed away peacefully June 18, 2024. He
grew up in Dearborn, MI, where he made many friends. In 1990 he graduated from Grand River
Academy in Austinburg, OH, and continued his education at New Mexico State University in Las
Cruces, NM.
His lifelong passion was his love of animals. Throughout his life he owned and cared for his
dogs, Velvet and Apache, his alligator Mikey, his turtle Tank, birds, reptiles you name it.
Justin was married for 10 years to Amy who shared his love of exotic animals.
After a diagnosis of M.S. in 2016, he resided at Darby Glenn Nursing Home in Ohio. He had an
amazing, positive attitude throughout his illness and would brighten your day with his kind words
and good spirit. He will also be remembered for his sense of humor (hilarious) and mischief.
Everyone who knew him has a "Justin Story"! He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his parents Anne and Don Hayward, his sister Allison Stauter (Jason), uncles,
Dennis Hayward (Anita), Bill Dauphine and aunt Liz Dauphine.
