Justin Ty Jones of Longmont CO and formally of Cheyenne and Torrington Wyoming died Sept. 29th, 2025

He was born April 7, 1967 in Torrington, Wyoming.

He attended Torrington High School and was a member of the wrestling and tennis teams. After graduation from the University of Wyoming, Justin interned for several US Congressman in Washington DC and later worked at various banks.

He enjoyed attending music concerts and following sports. He liked to collect sports cards and memorabilia. He had a special fondness for college football- especially the Alabama Crimson Tide. He loved Nascar (Kurt Bucsh) and attended several races around the US. He was a huge Colorado Avalanche fan and would go to watch them whenever he could. He got a big kick when people mistook him for Joe Sakic.

He is proceeded in death by parents, Barry and Sharon Jones of Torrington WY

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jeff & Tanya Jones, nephews; Hayden, Hunter and Ryder Jones, cousins whom he considered more like his brothers and sister – Taylor and Cotton Dan Jones and Jonel Geske. Numerous aunts and uncles and many friends. He adored his cat Sydney and loved to show her off to everyone.

His smile and infectious laugh will be missed by everyone.

A celebration of life will be held Oct. 11th at 3:00 at the Cheyenne Church of Christ. 4707 Allan Rd

Justins final resting place will be with his parents in Valley View Cemetary, Torrington Wy
