Justin D. Middleton

Justin D. Middleton, age 43, passed away unexpectedly and was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on Thursday, January 16, 2025. His sudden loss has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Virginia 'Ginny' Wood, his step-grandfather William Deibler, and his paternal grandparents, Douglas and Darlene Middleton.
He is survived by his beloved sons, Jace Middleton and Trent Jones; his loving parents, Marlon and Cheryl Spangler; his brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Amanda Middleton; his brother-in-law and best friend, Chad Jones; his cherished nephews, Kyler Grim, Gavin, Kody, and Carter Jones; his nieces, Khalie Grim and Kortleigh Middleton; his grandmother, Yvonne 'Vonnie' Willour; and his biological father Jeffrey Middleton. Justin will also be deeply missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were privileged to know him.
Justin worked for nearly 18 years at Gichner Systems Group, where he held the positions of Welder Level 5 Lead and Technical Project Leader (TPL). Known for his loyalty, dedication, and incredible work ethic, Justin was the person his team could always count on. His expertise and positive attitude made him a valued member of the workplace, and he earned the respect of everyone around him.
Above all, Justin was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend. He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and the love he shared with everyone around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be deeply missed.
A viewing will be held from 10-11am Thursday, January 23, 2025 at John W. Keffer Funeral Home, 2114 West Market St. York. The funeral service will begin at 11am with Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating. Burial will be private at the family's convenience.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Justin's name.
