Kaleb James Grayson, 33, of Columbus, passed from this life unexpectedly Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Kaleb was born February 12, 1992, in Franklin, Indiana, the son of Tony Lee and Kelly Jo Brandenburg Grayson.

Mr. Grayson worked as a supervisor at The Veneer Source here in Columbus. He enjoyed listening to all sorts of music. Kaleb also liked all things having to do with firearms. Camping and spending time with his family were among his favorite ways to spend his free time. He will be deeply missed by those that know and love him.

Survivors include his children, Regal Grayson, Miya Thompson; parents, Tony and Kelly Grayson; grandmothers, Neva (Donnie) Priest of Henderson, Kentucky, Peggy McCulluh of Rushville; grandpa, Leroy Brandenburg of Deputy, Indiana; sister, Daisy Grayson of Columbus; niece, Saige Huber; great grandmother, Joanne Franklin, also of Henderson, Kentucky; aunts and uncles, Lora (Phil) Longnecker of Texas, Beth Brandenburg of Kentucky, Jessica (Pete) Reck of Indianapolis, Mark (Jessica) Hankins of Shelbyville, Toshia (Larry) Coomer of Scottsburg and uncle, Leslie Grayson, also of Rushville.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Brittany Grayson; grandparents, James and Sue Grayson; great-grandparents, Troy and Betty Brandenburg; aunts, Alice Weaver and Charlotte Hunt.

In keeping with the family's request, cremation will take place and a memorial service honoring Kaleb's life with be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Ed Boston officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Centerstone Columbus Homeless Outreach Program (CHOP).
