Mrs. Karen Louise Asher was born September 26, 1975 in Hyden, KY. Karen is the daughter of Elaine Duff and James Estridge. She passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024. She passed away at the Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana. Karen was 48 years old. Karen had been a resident of Corydon for the past 10 years previously living in Leslie County, KY. Karen was a loving & devoted homemaker to her husband and four cherished children. She also enjoyed collecting antiques & jewelry, flower gardening and especially loved spending time with her family.
Karen is preceded in death by her special paternal grandparents, Marion & Hazel Jean Estridge and special maternal grandmother, Jean McDaniel and her grandparents-in-law, Andy & Jettie Asher and Chester & Rebecca Mosley. She leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved father, James "Jim" Estridge and wife, Tracy, Wooton, KY, beloved mother, Elaine Duff and husband, Coy, Hoskinston, KY., loving husband, Rodney Asher, Corydon, IN., two cherished sons, Blaine Asher & Kaitlin, Spurgeon, IN., and Blake Asher, Elberfele, IN., two cherished daughters, Letisha Lawson & Kevin, Williamsburg, KY and Courtney Collett & Johnathon, Hyden, KY., two special sisters, Jamie Roberts & Marky, Wooton, KY and Jordyn Estridge, Wooton, KY., step-sister, Jace Peters & Kyle, step-sister, Kasey Duff, step-brothers, Rusty Melton & Jonathan Duff, special maternal grandfather, Nathan McDaniel, special father-in-law & mother-in-law, Gary Asher & Cheryl, special sister-in-law, Ashley Holland & husband, Ryan, Bear Branch, KY., two treasured granddaughters, Brooklyn Collett & Kinsley Collett and one on the way, Averie Faye Asher. Also a special friend (like a brother), Jeremy "Big Dog" Asher and a host of other relatives & friends survive. The following will serve as pallbearers: Kevin Lawson, John Collett, Marky Roberts, Ryan Holland, Rusty Melton, Jamie Melton, Tim Shell and Jeremy Asher.
