KINSMAN – Karen Sue Fenn, 69, passed away peacefully in her loving husband's arms on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at home surrounded by her family and pets.
Karen was born December 25, 1955, in Warren Ohio, the daughter of William and Helen (Miller) Roscoe. She was one of 6 children. On April 21, 1972, she married her husband, Dale E. Fenn and had 53 joyful years of marriage.
Karen coached her daughter's softball team for 10 years and loved doing things with children. She was a great cook and a loving mother. She liked to travel with Mother's Club and made trips to Florida to visit her sister, Caroline and trips to New York City with her sister-in-law, Sandy. In her younger years, she did a lot of interior painting and wallpapering. Later she went to work for First Federal and then Mahoning Bank of Kinsman, retiring as head teller.
Karen will be missed by her loving husband Dale, son Michael (Melissa) Fenn, Grandson Mateo Fenn, granddaughter Paola Fenn and pets. Proceeding her in death are her parents, William and Helen Roscoe, daughter Jessica Villafana Fenn, granddaughter Jullianna Fenn and sister Cheryl (Roscoe) Melvin.
Friends and family may call on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St. Kinsman Ohio 44428. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, starting at 11:00am at Gustavus Cemetery Chapel, RT 193N. Pastor Timothy Moreland of Washington Valley Christian Church, will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Karen's name to Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation, 663 Thirteen Street, Suite 100, Oakland, CA 94612.
