Karen Hall Hulsman

Karen Hall Hulsman, 70, passed away peacefully on Friday January 24th after a courageous battle with cervical cancer. Born July 30, 1954 in Louisville, Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo R. Hall and Vernon B. Hall, her grandparents, her nephew Jefferey Robinson, and brother-in-law Paul Hulsman.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Charlie. Her sister Cheryl Downs and her Children, Drew Hall and his children, Olivia and Ethan Hall, Abigail Fackler (Calvin) their children Moses and Cleo all of Louisville. Her brother Terry Hall (Candy) their son Aaron (Jocelyn) his children, Avery, Drayce, Roman, and Juliette all of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by 8 other nephews and 3 other nieces, all that she loved and supported with birthday and holiday cards, as well cousin (like a sister) Billie Pate (Roy) as well as a large number of other cousins and great friends.
Karen was a 1972 Graduate of Iroquois High School.
Karen had many jobs in her career in accounting and secretarial positions and data entry then retired to spend her next career as a caregiver for her family! She was a great cook and baker and was well known for her famous brownies and her craftiness.
Per Karen's wishes, there will be no visitation. There will be a memorial mass at Noon on Saturday, February 1st at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 3509 Taylor Blvd and a Celebration of Life from 1pm – 5pm at Most Blessed Sacrament Pioneer Hall, 1125 Hathaway Ave. Cremation was chosen and a private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
