Anne married her beloved Ralph Benjamin Bourdeau February 4, 1961. They were blessed with 5 children: Douglas, Martin, Dawn, Scott and Joy.
Anne enjoyed attending her grandchildren's events along with golfing, sewing, quilting, baking and women's ministry. She was devoted to serving others by volunteering at church, tending to those in need, visiting shut-ins, and writing letters to prison inmates.
Anne is survived by her devoted children Douglas (partner Tim), Martin (Gynnae), Dawn Horzempa (Sam), Scott (Grace), Joy Luoma (Jon), her 17 precious grandchildren: Marty's children Madison, Grayson, Annalise, Jordan, Gabriel, Cameron, Noelle, Scott's children Benjamin, Alex, Nina, Dawn's children Ed, Christine, Kathleen, Nicole, and Joy's children Lauren, Brittany, Caleb. Anne was also blessed with 6 great grandchildren: Eli, Kaela, Milia, Emmet, Harper, and Farrah.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, siblings John Sherby, Sharon Comps, and Marilyn Sherby, and her son-in-law Richard Harrison.
Funeral Service Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 11am, at Faith Lutheran Church, 37635 Dequindre Rd., Troy, 48083. Friends may begin visiting church at 10am. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 2-8pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 1368 N. Crooks Rd., Clawson, 48017. Burial will be in Van Hoosen Jones Cemetery in Rochester Hills.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church: Women's Ministry or Student Ministry, or the Banbury Cross Equestrian Center.

Anne was a golf friend on the Tuesday league. Always a lady, but boy could she hit that ball. It was always a fun day when you played with Anne. Mostly pretty quiet, but there were some one-liners that came out every now and again, that would crack us up.
It was my honor to call her a friend. RIP my friend.

I loved playing golf with Anne. She was an excellent golfer, and her calm, steady approach to the game was an inspiration for me. Anne was the epitome of kindness, and her face would light up whenever the topic of grandchildren came up. She will be dearly missed.
