Katherine L. (Lochner) Weaver, age 85, of Wexford, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Beloved wife for 59 years of Brady Weaver.
More than anything, Katherine cherished her family. She is the Loving mother of Debora Matz (Joseph) and Todd Weaver (Veronica); grandmother of Nicolette Matz, Danielle Matz, Leah Weaver, and Benjamin Weaver; sister of the late James Lochner and William Lochner.
Katherine lived a life filled with family, friends, adventure, laughter, and an enduring curiosity for the world around her. A true explorer at heart, she traveled far and wide-collecting memories, stories, and photographs wherever she went. Her camera was never far from her side, capturing the quiet beauty of a sunrise, the joy of family gatherings, and the details others might miss.
An avid golfer, Katherine was proud to have achieved not just one but two holes-in-one over the years-a testament to her skill, persistence, and love for the game. Whether she was on the green, behind the lens, or planning her next trip, she brought warmth, humor, and energy to everything she did.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Family will welcome friends on Friday, June 27th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Schellhaas & Sons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143 (Franklin Park/Wexford). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 11:00am in St. John Neumann Church, 2230 Rochester Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Parkinson's Foundation, www.parkinson.org or Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
