Kathleen (Scott) Beale passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, at the age of 92, surrounded by family and the ones who loved her dearly.

Born on January 28, 1933, in Waltham, MA, Kathleen was the daughter of John and Violetta (Smith) Scott. She grew up in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Business & Accounting from Bentley College.

Kathleen married the love of her life, Charles Beale, with whom she shared 54 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. Together, they built a loving family and a life full of adventure, laughter, and cherished traditions.

Kathleen dedicated much of her career to serving the Easton Public Schools, beginning in lunch services and ultimately becoming the Food Service Director. She continued on to West Bridgewater High School, where she provided bookkeeping services for the school administration.

Kathleen was a woman of many passions. She was an avid baker, known especially for her exquisite wedding cakes, and a die-hard NASCAR fan. She served as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts for both her sons, and in the summers, she could always be found by the pool surrounded by her beloved grandchildren. Whether flying alongside her husband in his plane over Plymouth or casting a line on camping trips - always catching the biggest fish thanks to the legendary "Beale touch" - she embodied joy and enthusiasm. Her camping adventures with family in their lovingly dubbed "Frolicking Beales," are remembered fondly by all who took part.

Kathleen's spirit was strong and full of love. Stubborn but witty, she was the cornerstone of her family, fiercely devoted to those she held dear. Affectionately known to many as Mo Beagly, Mumsie, or Gramma, she brought happiness into every life she touched.

Kathleen is survived by her children, John Beale and his wife Brenda of Mashpee, MA, Deborah Souza and her husband Michael of York, SC, and Edward Beale and his wife Valerie of Attleboro, MA. She also leaves behind seven beloved grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, John and Violetta Scott, her husband, Charles Beale, her son, Charles Beale Jr., and her granddaughter, Lindsey Souza.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Southeast Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 93 Center St., North Easton, MA 02356. A Funeral Service will proceed in the funeral home at 11:45 AM, followed by burial at Coweeset Cemetery, 1001 Pearl St., Brockton, MA 02301.
