Kathleen (Chase) Bunnell, 66, died Friday, March 8, 2019, at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after a long period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Robert Bunnell. Born in Boston, she was raised in Jamaica Plain and educated in Hyde Park. She was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. She worked as a dietary aide at Brookline Hospital for several years. Mrs. Bunnell was a resident of Lynn for several years, prior to moving to Saugus many years ago. She was also a dedicated homemaker and mother. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Bunnell is survived by her children: Peggy Quinney of NH, David Bodwell of Sharon, and Robby Bunnell of Boston. She was the sister of Debbie Simon and her husband Harry of Sharon, Frank Chase and his wife Kathleen of Stoughton, Tom Chase of Stoughton, and Sandy Vanaria of Walpole. She was the grandmother of Dylan, Ashlie, Katelyn, and Michael Quinney and is also survived by three nieces: Christine Thompson of RI, Nicole Chase of Walpole, and Stephanie Chase of Brighton. Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton, MA at 10:00 AM. Visiting Hours will be Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
