Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Calderone, 75, of Niles, MI passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born in South Bend, IN on May 11, 1948, to the late Michael and Helen (Cserpes) Hatala. On May 24, 1969, in St. Matthew Cathedral, she married Rocco Calderone who survives. Also surviving are his children, Gina Meyer and Joseph (Amy) Calderone and grandchildren, Jacob Calderone, Maria Meyer, Katelyn Calderone and Luke Meyer. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas Hatala.
Kathy is a 1966 graduate of John Adams High School.
The family will receive friends from 10 am-11:45 am on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 pm at St. Bavo Catholic Church, 511 W. 7th St., Mishawaka with Father Pete Pacini officiating. Kathy will be laid to rest following mass at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
