Born in New Castle on September 29, 1952, Kathy was the daughter of the late Jane DeMarco.
Kathy is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Carbone. The two were married on April 22, 1972.
Kathy was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. As a lifetime residence of New Castle, Kathy was an avid New Castle Sports Fan rarely missing any games. She also enjoyed playing cards. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Kathy's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
In addition to her husband, Kathy is survived by her children, Heather Cuscino, Melanie Conti (Stephen), Lisa Carbone, Ricky Carbone (Randi Sue DiGennaro) and Brian Carbone (Victoria) Borrelli), her sister, Angie Kordish, nine grandchildren, Brandon, Dustin, Zackery, Cheyenne, Senaca, Domenick, Juliette, Chase and Gabriella.
In addition to her mother, Kathy was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Brian Cuscino.
Visitation will be on Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father John Gizler will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
