Kathleen E. Carrozza passed away peacefully at the age of 79 on February 26, 2025, in New York. Born on July 25, 1945, in Appleton, NY, she grew into an extraordinary woman who valued family above all else.
Kathleen graduated from high school and dedicated her professional life as an Office Manager with Community Orthopedics in Cortland Manor, NY. The truest testament to Kathleen's life was her unwavering love for her husband, Edward L. Carrozza - the love of her life whom she married in White Plains, NY on July 23, 1966. She was preceded in passing by her beloved mother, Helen Harry.
Left to honor Kathleen's legacy are her daughter Christina and son-in-law Chester Gardineer, along with her cherished grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley, and Jason Gardineer. Kathleen found her greatest joy and pride in her grandchildren, each moment with them was treasured.
She was a member of the Carpenters Retirees with her husband.
She held a deep affection for the simple grace of hummingbirds, which to her symbolized love and happiness. As such, Kathleen's life was a tapestry woven with loving threads, affording warmth and comfort to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Cargain Funeral Home, 418 Route 6 (GPS US-6), Mahopac, NY.
