Kathleen Ann Evers

Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Evers, age 69 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick surrounded by her loving family. Born in Elizabeth, she had resided in Parlin for the last 42 years. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a teacher's aide at Academy Learning Center in Monroe Township for over ten years.

Kathy loved the beach and spent much time at her beach house in Ocean Gate. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Aruba, and was creative through her arts and crafts projects. Above all, Kathy cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is predeceased by her parents Gerard and Loretto Powers. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Michael Evers; her daughters Stacy Fletcher and her husband Edward and Ellen Evers; her grandchildren Madison and Hailey Anthony, Logan Fletcher and Zoey Carbonaro; her sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Stuart Clifton; and many other extended family members and friends.

Visitation hours will take place on Tuesday from 3pm to 7pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a prayer service at 5:30pm. A private cremation will follow.
