Kathleen Virginia Irvine November 11, 1946 – May 2, 2025
Kathleen Virginia Irvine of Fredericksburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, at Paramount Senior Living. She was born on November 11, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late John Joseph McCann and Marion Roop McCann.
Kathleen led a remarkable life filled with adventure and purpose. She spent her career with Motorola, traveling the world, meeting people from all walks of life, and experiencing diverse cultures. Of all the places she visited, one of her favorite retreats was Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah Mountains, where she found peace and beauty in nature.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Dawn Irvine Perez(Peter) and Victoria Lynn Irvine(Tony); her loving siblings, Mary Lou McCann, and Jack McCann; her cherished grandchildren, Alberto Luis Davila (Louie), Anthony Michael Gaghan (Tony), Joclyn "Joci" Victoria Gaghan (Tom), Brianna Nicole Gaghan (Bri Bri), and Korie Michael Mouser; and a legacy of great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy: Kris Gaghan, Connor Gilliam, Kaleb Gaghan, Sophia Gilliam, Logan Gaghan, Patricia Gaghan, Zoey Gaghan, Addilynn Velli, Jeremiah Zayden Gaghan, Lilly Ann Sigafuse, Bridget Sigafuse, and Xavier Amir Gaghan.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Charles Irvine, her father, John Joseph McCann, and her mother, Marion Roop McCann.
Kathleen's life will be honored with a Celebration of Life at Skyland Resort in Luray, Virginia, on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
