Kathryn Mary Boudreau of Weymouth, 50 years of age, passed away on December 6, 2023, after a brief illness. Katie grew up in Milton where she excelled at sports, school suspensions, and raising the decibel level wherever she went. She attended St Agatha's in Milton followed by Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree, before earning an associate's degree from Quincy College. Her personality was a tour de force, either striking laughter, instilling fear, eliciting unabashed passion, or evoking heartfelt sincerity depending on her whim.
Katie excelled at creating and posting absurd memes, and at sharing entirely inappropriate humor, but more than that, she had a true passion for group text messages that included unusually large numbers of people from multiple time zones. When she wasn't online entertaining her legion of Facebook fanatics, she was a true advocate for people in recovery and a firm believer in God, reconnecting with her faith in her adult years. She found solace in the Lord. And through that solace and worthy affirmation she was inspired to assist others in various recovery programs. Through this faith, and over many years, she helped scores of people get into recovery to get the care that they dearly needed. She was also phenomenal with children, spending many of her professional years employed in childcare. Above all else, Katie absolutely adored time spent with her family, cherishing each opportunity, and her family, in turn, adored and valued their time spent with her.
Katie is predeceased by her adoring son Ryan, vivacious mother Denise, as well as her dedicated grandparents, all of whom she loved intently and missed sincerely. She is survived by her ever-loyal father Walter, her four devoted brothers Gil, Marc, Greg, and Daniel, loving nieces and nephews, and close-knit cousins and extended family living throughout New England as well as in Florida, Ohio, and Arizona. And boyfriend Scott St Martin.
Kathryn's wake will be held at the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St, on Wednesday, December 13th from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
The funeral will be held at St Mary's Church located at 1 Church Sq, Franklin Ma at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 14th.
Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Grief is the most avoided, undesirable, confusing, painful emotion that there is. It carries with it such a heaviness that you just can't sit down. It's not as much a burden that you carry, as it is the one that just sits on you. It's all consuming. There's no escaping it. It impacts you mentally, emotionally, physically, & spiritually. It can keep you awake when you want to go to sleep & it can make you feel like going to sleep in times when you need to be awake. It can cloud your thinking, leading to poor decision making & wildly impacts your mood each and every single day. Happy Heavenly Valentine's Day, My Beautiful Soulmate...Miss you so much

The Moment that you left me my heart Split in two.
One side filled with memories. The other Side died with you.
I often lay awake at night when the world Is fast asleep
And take a walk down memory lane with Tears upon my cheek.
Remembering you is easy. I do it every Day
But missing you is a heartache that never Goes away.
I hold you tightly within my heart
And there you will remain
As my life goes on without you but will Never be the same.

Katie,
I´m so deeply saddened and sorry to all that love you. You were always so inspiring to me in multiple areas. When we would talk about our commonalities in life it so wholeheartedly helped me to know I´m not alone. I will miss you here on earth, I know you will always be with me

Would you know my name if l saw you in Heaven, would you be the same, if l saw you in Heaven? We must be strong and carry on cause it's too soon for you to be in Heaven. Would you hold my hand, if l saw you in Heaven. Would you help me stand if l saw you in Heaven. I'll find my way through the day and night cause l know you're there in Heaven. Beyond the door there is peace I'm sure and l know you'll have no more tears in there in Heaven. I love you. Terri. Heven

Katie bug, I called her we 1st met 5+ years ago in recovery and became fast friends via social media as well. We went on a retreat together in Oct 2019 and were roommates that weekend. We also were spiritually connected with the loss of our sons, Ryan in May 2020 and my son in March of this year. She and I attended women's meetings together. She was such a force of positivity inmy life as well as others. I'm missing you beyond words each day. I want to extend my deepest condolences to the Boudreau family as a whole. This loss is quite difficult for me. Sending prayers for comfort to all of you.
