Kathy passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. She was born on April 10, 1951, in Fort Scott, Kansas, to the late Lyle N. and Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Myrick. Kathy had made Lindale her home for the past 10 years, where she was an active member of Carmel Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary #15. She previously lived in Nevada, Missouri, Kansas City, Missouri, and Fort Scott, Kansas. Throughout her life, Kathy worked as an accountant, a hairdresser, and a truck driver before retiring. She was passionate about arts and crafts and was known for her warmth, kindness, and loving nature.
Funeral services for Kathy Ann Depue, 73, of Lindale, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Caudle-Rutledge-Daughtery Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale. The service will be officiated by Brother James Cheatham.
The family will receive friends at visitation on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Caudle-Rutledge-Daughtery Funeral Home in Lindale.
Kathy was preceded in death by parents Lyle and Mary Myrick, son, Anthony Kimble, and her granddaughter, Brittanie Bratcher.
She is survived by her husband, Harley Depue of Lindale; son, Richard (Ricky) Graham; grandson, Zackary Graham, both of Lindale; granddaughter, Jordynn Graham of California; daughter, Billie Jo Kilts of St. Charles, Missouri; grandson, Blaize Peebles of Baltimore, Maryland; granddaughters, Christian Cash of Midway, Kentucky, and Shenandoah Swartwood of Colorado City, Colorado; daughter Sherren Bridges and husband, Mark, of Neosho, Missouri, along with six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Kathy is also survived by daughter Dawn Hollis and David Keathley of Missouri, their three granddaughters and six great-granddaughters; sister, Peggy Newkirk; nephew David Newkirk of Missouri nieces, Heather Ireland and Rebecca Newkirk, of Omaha, Nebraska; sister Sherry Wood and husband, Mike, of Tyler, Texas; nephew, Michael Wood wife, Paula and great niece Cheyanne, of Harrisonville, Missouri, and great-nephew, Anthony Vardaman and wife, Faithful, and their son AJ of Greenwood, Missouri; niece Melissa Garnica and husband, Luis, of Tyler, Texas, along with great-nieces Paige Canino and Peyton Garnica.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the SPCA Animal Shelter or to Camp Comrade.
