Kathy Dunnahoo passed away Thursday December 7, 2023, at the age of 84. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Pat Dunnahoo, daughter Susan, son Chad, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Kathy was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas December 14, 1938, where she grew up excelling in academics and extracurricular school activities. She moved to NM as a young adult where she met and married Pat Dunnahoo. Kathy spent the rest of her life in New Mexico working in administrative jobs while raising a family and later, spoiling grandchildren. She retired from the City of Las Cruces as the Executive Secretary for the Utilities Department in 1999. She enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening, boating and water skiing at Caballo and Elephant Butte lakes. She loved entertaining family and friends and was famous for her chili rellenos and pecan pies.

To all Kats family So sorry to hear about Kat- she was such a sweet and wonderful sister-I always loved talking to her on the phone - I have so many memories of her growing up and through the years -my heart breaks but she has been sick so long and i know she is in heaven with her family and can remember all of them love you all aunt Patsy Thompson and all my family

Prayers to all my family - we have cherished lifetime memories with our aunt Cat - she was very dear to us all - its hard when we live so far away or we would be there for funeral - love you all and will pray for comfort i told mom i bet aunt note met her at heavens gate ready to play yahtzee
