Kathy Sue “KK” Montgomery
Kathy Sue Montgomery (KK as she was known by those that loved her) went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 18, 2024. She was surrounded by her children singing her into the arms of Jesus.
She is a lifelong resident of Cleveland TN. She retired from Peyton's Southeastern after 30 plus years of service. Kathy ran a successful tax business where she met many friends. She was an active member of Spring Place Church of God of Prophecy where she served on the Finance committee.
Kathy was proceeded in death by her husband of 35 years, Billy Zane Montgomery; mother, Katherine Womac; father and stepmother, Roy and Anna Belle Baker.
She is survived by her son William “Scot” (Ella) Montgomery; daughters, Amanda Sue (Wilbur) McGarvey and Elizabeth Montgomery; two wonderful grandchildren, Eleanor and Alex Montgomery; brother, Paul (Debbie) Baker; sister, Sondra Brown; several nieces and nephews and her loving dog Paco and six grand-dogs.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home of Cleveland. The family will welcome friends from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
