Kathy Ryna Wilburn

Kathy Ryna Viars Wilburn, 62, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Kathy was born July 9, 1963, in Mansfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Junior and Dora Lambert Viars. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 23 years in 2017, Jamie "Smiley" Lawrence Wilburn; two brothers, Greg Viars and Jeff Viars; a sister, Michelle Viars; a daughter-in-law, Dorie Ann Skaggs Bledsoe; a great-grandson, Franklin Bledsoe; and a brother-in-law, Bruce Holbrook.

Kathy was a manager and cook at the Marathon Gas Station in Olive Hill and loved to spend time with her family and friends. Kathy had a contagious personality and never knew a stranger.

Kathy is survived by her children, Bryan Bledsoe, Amy (Michael) Eldridge all of Grayson; Chris Wilburn and Jamie Wilburn who she raised as her own; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leslie "Pokie" (Renee) Viars, George (Genelle) Viars and Robert Viars; a sister, Cheryl Holbrook; a sister-in-law, "Tuie" Viars; and many friends and extended family who all mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Bo Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in the Hannah Cemetery.
