She was born in Millersburg on October 4, 1952 to the late Peter M. and Barbara J. (Miller) Troyer.
She is survived by siblings, Henry Troyer of Mt. Hope, Anna (Willis) Troyer of Kidron, Eli (Bonnie) Troyer of Edon, OH, Clara (Marvin) Troyer of Millersburg, Betty (Harold) Mast of Arthur, IL, Mose (Freida) Troyer of Sugarcreek, Mary Ann (Michael) Ickes of Wooster, Jonas (Naomi) Troyer of Dalton, Dena (Jacob) Schrock of Sugarcreek, and Barbara (Leon) Wengerd of Dalton; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Troyer; and sisters-in-law, Amanda Troyer and Verna Troyer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 9:00 am at Kidron Mennonite Church, 3987 Kidron Road, Kidron, with Pastors Carl Wiebe and John Schmid officiating. Burial will follow in the Wengerd Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Kidron Mennonite Church. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling the arrangements.

Katie, oh how I will miss you. We had planned on having lunch or dinner together after this picture, but we just couldn´t get our schedules together. I wish I could have come to your going away get together.

I remember meeting Katie in Pinecraft. She was so sweet, loved feeding the squirrels and captured the best photos. I loved following her through her photos. So sorry for her passing.
