Survivors include her children, Ariel Morgan, Jeremiah Bass, Adaline Morgan, and Estelle Morgan; father, Michael Lynn Morgan and his wife, Terry, of Silsbee; mother, Melissa Morgan of Lumberton; sisters, Chelsea Mullens and her husband, Daniel, of Port Arthur; Madison Foster of Lumberton; and Jerri Morgan, Hope Garsee, and Katy Lewis and her husband, Shawn, all from Silsbee; brother, Christian Rountree of Silsbee; nieces and nephews, Marissa Gallion, Terra Lisenby, Haedyn Garsee, Bennett, and Baker Mullens; grandparents, Virgia and Marvin Morgan of Silsbee; Phylis McKinney of Beaumont; and numerous aunts and uncles.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Lynn Morgan, II, and grandmother, Shirley Smallwood Young.
A gathering of Kayla's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Kayla's funeral service will be a private service.

I remember riding the bus to school and being so shy, she was so loud and full of life. She was my first friend in school, I´ll never forget you and I hope you´re resting now. You deserve it girl
