Throughout her life, Keisha was always a pillar of strength and support for her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Josiah Isreal; her parents, Joseph and Barbara Isreal; sisters LaShawnda Whitehead, Courtney Isreal, and Jodera Israel; nieces Jaelyn Brown, Ajanae Whitehead and Kristina Whitehead and nephews Andrew and Julian Whitehead; and special friends Lauren Carter and Amir Fralin; as welll as her uncles and cousins. Keisha was preceeded in death by her maternal grandparents, Barbara Bright and Daniel Seawright; step-grandfather, Roy L. Bright; and paternal grandparents, Lillie Mae Seay and Eddie Israel, Sr.
Keisha cherished moments spent with her son, teaching him and exploring new activities together. Her love for travel and her deep commitment to family were evident in all aspects of her life. She also maintained close relationships with her college friends, whom she referred to as "her girls," sharing countless precious memories.
Keisha's life was a testament to her independent spirit and the positive energy she radiated, making her a beloved figure in her community and beyond. First I would like to give my condolences to your family and friends. I´m still in disbelief as I just found out about your passing... I last spoke to you on Oct 21st on one of our occasional check ins and you said you were ok. I wish that check-in would´ve been a little longer but I know you are in a better place. We weren´t as close in recent years but you always held a special place in my heart. I will never forget the good times we had like our trips to Atlantic City, and Toronto. I appreciate the care you showed for my daughter, it meant more to me than you could´ve imagined... Rest easy Keisha, until we meet again.

I worked with Keisha at Citibank, and we instantly connected when we found out we had the same name. She was such a kind soul. Sending my deepest condolences to the family, and all who knew and loved Keisha.
