Kelly R. Hilpipre Sr., 69, of West Des Moines, Iowa, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025.
Born on July 20, 1956, in Webster City, Iowa, Kelly was raised on the family farm in southern Iowa, where he spent his early years alongside his father, brother, and three sisters. He carried a deep appreciation for rural life and family, values that remained central throughout his life.
He is survived by his son, Kelly R. Hilpipre Jr.; his beloved granddaughters, Bailie and Adalyn Hilpipre; and his sisters, Kittie, Kathy, and Kendra. He is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Keith Hilpipre Sr., his brother, Keith Hilpipre Jr., and many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cremation has been entrusted to Merle Hay Chapel. In accordance with his wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Suncrest Hospice for their compassionate care and support during Kelly's illness. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to:

KELL......I have years and years of beautiful memories. You and our times are some of the best, funniest, craziest, and fulfilling times of my life. You should have called I told you I wanted to be there.....I will miss the MAN, THE LEGEND, THE PROTECTION OF MY BEST FRIEND AND YOUR LAUGH.....MAN I Know your up there with my Daddy....tell him how it isn't the same without either of you.
