Kelly A. (Coppola) Mikus, 61, of Imperial, North Fayette Township, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born January 12, 1964, in McKees Rocks, Kelly devoted her life to caring for others as a home health aide for disabled individuals with Citizen Care. With endless patience, compassion, and love, she touched countless lives. Known for her heart of gold, Kelly welcomed every stray animal in need, always choosing the ones who needed the most care and affection. She took great pride in her home and garden, blessed with a green thumb that could bring any plant back to life.
Kelly's radiant smile could light up any room-a smile that first captured the heart of her husband, Tom. Married for 43 years, together they raised their daughter, Lindsey, Kelly's greatest joy. She loved being actively involved in Lindsey's life and cherished the close bond they shared. Kelly was also known for her sharp wit and wonderful sense of humor, filling her family's days with laughter and warmth.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas 'Tom' Mikus; daughter, Lindsey Mikus; parents, Dominic Coppola and Murri Daugherty; sister, Karen Spivak; brother, Brian (Susan) Coppola; mother-in-law, Carol (late Frank) Mikus; brothers-in-law, John Spivak, Joe (Sharon) Mikus, Andy (Michelle) Mikus, Mike (Tracy) Mikus, and Frank (Claudia) Mikus; sister-in-law, Jennifer Mikus; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her cherished pets, Bud, TC, and Ralph.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 305 Main Street, Imperial (724-695-2800). A service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
