BRIMFIELD – Kenneth F. Alberts, 82, of Old Sturbridge Road, passed away peacefully on August 8th, 2025, at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge.
Kenneth was born to the late Frank and Mary (Sowa) Alberts in Springfield, MA on April 4th, 1943. He graduated from Tantasqua High School in 1961 and furthered his education at Wards Business School and Springfield Tech Community College.
Throughout his life, Kenneth dedicated his time to collecting firewood, landscaping, and land clearing in the Brimfield/Warren area. He had a love for the outdoors, enjoying hobbies such as hunting and fishing. Kenneth was also a former member of the Hamilton, Holland, and Wales Rod and Gun Club.
In his later years, Kenneth embraced his faith deeply, becoming passionate about his beliefs in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was filled with the Holy Spirit and was used wonderfully in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He led many people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. He was very generous, consistently giving to many Christ centered ministries.
He will be remembered for his persistent faith in the midst of many physical difficulties, his love for God and the encouragement he gave to those around him.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11AM, on August 15, St. Christopher’s Church,16 Sturbridge Road, (RT. 20) Brimfield.
Burial will follow at Brimfield Cemetery.
Calling hours are 6to 8PM Thursday, August 14, in the Belanger-Bullard Funeral Home, 51 Marcy St. Southbridge.
