Kenneth Wayne Ashcraft, 78, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025.
Born on July 25, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kenneth proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy and after retiring from there, he Served again in the United States Army. Following his military career, he remained a dedicated supporter of fellow veterans through his involvement with a local Vietnam Veterans club.
Kenneth was an avid fisherman who found joy and peace in the outdoors. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, loyalty to his loved ones, and the deep sense of pride he had in his family and his service.
He is survived by his son Kenneth (Dionna) Ashcraft; and his grandchildren Jordan Ashcraft, Brionna Ashcraft, Kennan Ashcraft, and Brandon Halas who brought great joy to his later years.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty (Riley) Ashcraft; his daughter, Kimberly Ann Ashcraft; his parents, Charles and Gladys Ashcraft; and his brother Ric Ashcraft.
At this time, no funeral services are scheduled.
