Kenneth Bradley Byrd was the youngest child born to the late Theordore Byrd Sr. and Ruth Byrd on July 13, 1950, in Bryn Mawr, PA. He graduated from Great Valley Senior High School and upon graduating from high school he attended West Chester University for a period, studying English. He eventually enlisted in the United States Air Force. While enlisted in the Air Force he was trained and served as an Administrative Specialist for Logistics. He received an honorable discharge on June 3, 1975.
On January 10, 1976, he was united in holy matrimony to his lovely bride Carol Patricia Ann Byrd. Two daughters were born from this marriage. Kenny was extremely proud of his grandchildren and was always ready and available to take them to sporting events at school. He would often say that he was happy to be here to see their growth and achievements.
Kenny worked as a long-distance truck driver for a period as well as a computer programmer at Unisys. He started working at Mobil/Paoli Car Care and formed a bonding relationship with the owner, Bob DiSimone that lasted over 30 years. During his time at Luke Oil Kenny developed long-lasting friendships with many customers throughout Paoli.
Kenny was a prolific reader and was always willing to discuss the topics of his readings with very little filter. He would cart his books with him wherever he went to his wife's dismay as the tote bag was well worn to say the least.
He leaves behind to cherish precious memories: his wife, Carol Patricia Ann Byrd, two daughters, Kizzy Nicole Anderson and Danielle Catherine Byrd, five grandchildren, Hannah Hagen, Willie Anderson Jr, Marcus Childs, Jaxon Childs, Olivia Anderson, one bonus granddaughter, Cioni Flynn-Cook; one son-in-law, Willie Anderson Sr., One sister, Ressie Dodson, one brother, Theodore Byrd Jr. two brothers-in-law, Paul Dodson, Ray Lindsey, two sisters-in-law, Loretta Byrd and Deborah Tate and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

I have no words to express my feelings. Kenny was a dear friend all through Junior and high school years,.Although we didn´t stay in touch much when I did see him it was as if we had never been apart that´s what friendship is about. Goodbye dear friend.
