Kenneth Cain Obituary

Kenneth Lymar Cain, age 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024. Kenneth was a cherished father, brother, and granddad, known for his unwavering values of honor, honesty, integrity, and love. Raised in Athens, Alabama, he attended Clements High School in Limestone County. Kenneth proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, a testament to his commitment and dedication. Kenneth had a deep love for his family and was devoted to creating meaningful memories with his grandchildren. His kind spirit touched the lives of many, and he will be profoundly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Born on December 1, 1955, to Henry and Clara (Mosley) Cain, Kenneth is preceded in death by his beloved parents, as well as his grandmother, Cora Lee Mosley, grandfather, Edward Mosley; and his sister, Noretta Faye Malone.

He is survived by his loving family, including daughters, Kenisheon Cain and Shechinah Cain; grandchildren, Brandon Whitlock, Ja'Chinah Britt, and Symphony Britt; and siblings Brenda (Melvin) Pritchard, Gregory (Bernice) Cain, Sharon (Pryor) Wiley, Valerie Woods, Brian (Wanda) Cain, and Pete (Carolyn) Malone. He will also be remembered by his best friends, Doris Cain and Marcus (Deborah) Hall, aunts Barbara Cain and Cora Lee Cain, and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Highway. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m., with burial at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
