Throop Funeral Home, Inc.Kenneth Nelson Fredricks, age 65, of Coopersville, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Gerald and June (Hoezee) Fredricks. He was preceded in death by his mother June Kipp. Ken drove semis all his life and enjoyed taking his kids on deliveries, watching nascar and football. He was someone that always had a joke to tell, fearless and loyal. He is survived by his children, Jerry Fredricks, Glenn (Amanda) Fredricks, Amber (Mike) Horton, Tyler Fredricks, Dylan Fredricks; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; father, Gerald Fredricks; sister, Penny Flipse; brothers, Dennis (Shannon) Fredricks, Tim Fredricks, Todd (Karen) Fredricks and several nieces, nephews and friends at the depot. Following his wish cremation has taken place. A Memorial Open House will be held Saturday, Spetember 20, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Coopersville VFW Post 5598, 511 68th Ave N, Coopersville, MI 49404. Memorial donations may be made to Coopersville Athletic Boosters, 198 East St. Coopersville, MI 49404. Condolences for the family may be left on Ken’s guestbook at www.throopfh.com.
