Kenneth C. "Ken" Kunsman

Kenneth C. "Ken" Kunsman, 78, of Bethlehem died Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Loretta (Schmoyer) Kunsman who died February 13, 2021. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Kenneth A. and Minerva H. (Mast) Kunsman. A graduate of Fountain Hill High School class of 1965. Ken started his career at Bethlehem Steel in the mailroom and worked up to the Payroll Department before ending his career as a payroll supervisor. He worked for the Steel for over 30 years retiring in 2003. Ken's work ethic was unmatched. After retirement, he enjoyed spending his free time as the infamous "price checker," visiting all the local grocery stores looking for the best price. Ken lived for his children and grandchildren. When his children were growing up, Ken was a Fountain Hill Little League coach and a fervent and tireless supporter of his daughters' gymnastics. He never once hesitated to be a chauffeur, a babysitter, or a listening ear. Ken had a keen sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
Survivors: former spouse Susan E. Bennetch the mother of his children, Kenneth P. Kunsman and his wife Jodi of Tampa, FL, Lisa M. wife of Jeffrey Young, Jessica M. wife of David Lopez all of Bethlehem; stepchildren, Leslie Hart, Kimberly wife of Tod Stralo, Dawn wife of James Siegfried; grandchildren, Danny, Antonio, Sarah, Madison, Ally, Wesley, Sidney Roxanne, Sadie, Lacie, Manny and Lauren, Danielle, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Jonathan, Rebecca; 3 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Betty Hesnan.
Services: Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. A calling period will be held from 10 to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
