Kenneth "Lynn" Moore, 76, of Victoria, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
Lynn was born in Alice, Texas to K.T. and Dorothy Moore on July 20, 1948. He graduated from Alice High school in 1965. Lynn attended Texas A & I where he met his wife, Cheryl Cavasar. They were married on December 18, 1969 in Kingsville. They were blessed with three daughters.
Lynn spent his life serving others. Whether through his early career in retail and later as a supervisor at Texas Department of Human Services until retirement. Lynn was a Lions Club Life Member starting in 1976 and served in many leadership roles through the Boulevard Lions Club. He served on numerous boards over the years to help support the community. His service was an outward expression of his faith in Jesus Christ who had guided Lynn throughout his life. As a young child, Lynn accepted Christ as his Savior and looked forward to the day he would meet Him face to face.
He loved to BBQ and make chili which both won multiple awards at cookoffs. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Lynn loved his family and looked forward to gathering family together. In his final years he became an avid card player with his friends.
Lynn's friendship, lighthearted attitude and smile left an impact on so many people. His patience in listening and the wisdom he shared that brought comfort and encouragement were characteristic to him as a parent and friend.
Lynn is survived by his wife; daughters, Ann Moore-Hill (Billy), Rhonda Reeder (Jeremy Arnold), Becky Robertson (Matt); brother, Ronnie Moore (Judy); grandchildren, Cameron (Fallon) Hiller, Madison Hiller; great grandson, Hudson Hiller. And his niece Lori Shults (Dillon) and nephew, Trey (Lori) Moore and great nephews, Tilden and Teague Moore. His numerous cousins whom he loved like siblings.
