KENNETH FREDERICK PERRIN
NOVI, MI – Kenneth Frederick Perrin of Novi, Michigan, age 93, beloved
husband of the late Gail DePodesta Perrin, passed away on October 7, 2025.
He died of natural causes.
He is survived by his children Jeffrey (Renee), Andrew and Kathryn Perrin (Jamie) Williams. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Lindsay and Hayden Perrin, Hannah Grace (Josh) Robertson, Julia Gail (Nick) Walker, and Abigail, Lydia and Perrin Williams, and his great grandson Louie Frank Walker.
He was predeceased by his dear wife of over 62 years, Gail DePodesta Perrin, infant son Theodore James Perrin and sisters Phyllis (Maurice) Thorne and Betty Joan (Nils) Cruz.
Ken was born January 31, 1932, in Cambridge Massachusetts, son of Fred and Grace (McRitchie) Perrin. He spent most of his early life in Rochester NY.
He graduated from Irondequoit High School and Williams College. Following two years in the US Army, he joined Burroughs Corporation (now Unisys) which moved him to Detroit where he met and married Gail. He retired from Burroughs after holding various management positions in the Detroit area for 32 years.
Ken was always involved in various civic activities. He served on the Farmington School Board, the Oakland County School Boards Association, volunteered on the Farmington Hills Police Handicap Enforcement Program for twenty years, the Farmington Area Recreation Commission, and was active in three Subdivision Associations. He served on the Highland Senior Center Advisory Board and Highland Haven Board of Directors. He was a member of the St. Andrews Society of Detroit, the Huron River Hunting and Fishing Club, the American Legion and the Amvets. He was involved in all elections as a Polling official from 1963 through 2013.
