Kenneth Allen Smith, age 70, of Somerset passed from this life on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born on February 10, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the only son born to Noel J. and Onie Katherine Littrell Smith. Kenneth was a graduate of Norwood High School in Norwood, Ohio. He furthered his career and was employed with General Motors for several years.

In his earlier years, he enjoyed baseball, having played while in school and later becoming a baseball coach. Kenneth also enjoyed "tinkering" with old cars. He was a kindhearted, generous and a loving husband and father. He was of the Church of Christ Faith and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a son; Kyle Smith and a granddaughter; Keisha Smith.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Loretta Scott Smith of Somerset, a son; Thomas Smith (Nikki Watson) also of Burnside, four granddaughters; Krystyn Smith (David) Goff, Taylor Lowe, Nevaeh Watson and Nataly Smith (Harris Short), two grandsons; Alex (Abigail) Smith and Austin Hines, one aunt; Lena Eubank as well as a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
