A Celebration of Life for Kenny Weaver, a true Springfield icon, will take place to honor his memory and legacy. Born in Springfield, MO to proud parents Glenn Wesley, Sr. and Iola Mae, Kenny always had a knack for working with his hands. He joined his older siblings, Wes, Mark, and Joyce. Together, they made lasting memories of many shenanigans throughout the year. From his high school days at Hillcrest, he knew that life was best lived in the fast lane, whether it was on his beloved Harley or behind the wheel of his mighty Chevelle.
His dedication and passion for his work at The Carpet Shoppe were unmatched, and his expertise in flooring, particularly with intricate hardwood designs, brought joy and beauty to countless homes in Springfield. He will be remembered not only for his professionalism but also for his love of motorcycles, cars, and the thrill of speed.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Mark Weaver, and a sister, Joyce Weaver-Cline.
Kenny is survived by his brother Wes Weaver, daughter Lori Weaver, two granddaughters, Heather and Victoria Weaver, and nephews Brian and Scott Cline; other family members and many friends.
Let us come together, share in stories of Kenny's adventurous spirit, and celebrate the life of a man who lived to the fullest. Details for the commemorative gathering will be announced in the coming days. In the meantime, let us cherish the memories, laughter, and love that Kenny brought into our lives. Rest in peace, Kenny Weaver. Your spirit rides on forever.
Services will take place at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Monday, November 4th, at 2 PM.
