Kenneth Paul Zastrow of Townsend, Wisconsin, passed away at home on July 15, 2024. He was 87 years old.
Ken was born December 26, 1936, in Butler, Wisconsin to the late Arthur and Adelaide Zastrow. He married Patricia Zastrow on June 22, 1957, at the Pentecost Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. The couple were blessed with two children, Greg and Cherie.
For many years, Ken worked as a service technician, fixing and repairing gaming machines, pool tables and video games in southeast Wisconsin. He and Patt enjoyed the Northwoods in Townsend having spent many years there on vacations and eventually becoming full-time residents. He loved to hunt, fish and watch the birds. He was also a music enthusiast, particularly fond of jazz, having played the saxophone in bands for years when he was younger.
Survivors include his daughter, Cherie Schuckert, grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Bosanec, Devin (Taylor) Schuckert, Becca (Spencer) Fix, great grandchildren, Caila Lopez, Hudson Fix, Madison Bosanec, and Samantha Bosanec.
In addition to his parents, Ken is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, son, Greg Zastrow, 5 sisters, and 3 brothers.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Weber-Hill & Packard Funeral Home in Wabeno, Wisconsin. Internment will be at a later date in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Lannon, Wisconsin.
