Kent Edward Carter, 66, of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Heart-to-Heart Hospice. Kent was born in Evansville to James Edward Hooper and Eula Mae Carter Armstead on January 10, 1959.
Kent spent time enlisted in the Army National Guard. He enjoyed cutting grass, planting flowers, cooking, and grilling, and listening to music. He also enjoyed fishing, Kent loved to ride his bike. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved his dog “Mocha” Kent will truly be missed.
Kent is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Tyrus and Gerald.
He leaves sweet loving memories to his sisters, Joyce Taylor, Shankia Hooper and Amber Hooper, twin brother, Keith Carter and brother, Tyrone Armstead, nieces, Tarrika Wright, Eula Gilbert, Helena Bell, a host of great nieces and nephews who will truly miss him.
